In November 2020, we were challenged by the Globo team to update the communication of Multishow, a channel that has the highest audience among pay-TV programming in Brazil, which would celebrate its 30th anniversary the following year.
Over six months of intense work, we delved into how Multishow communicates, how it is perceived by the audience, and the changes that have occurred in the world and in the way we consume entertainment since the last on-air launch, five years prior.
The guiding concept for On Air 2021, Deu Match (It’s a Match), was influenced by the digital universe and proposes that the vast content of the channel combines to create new “matches” between them, connecting through the essence of Multishow: fun!
It was a highly stimulating project that resulted in the final deliverable, which included the conceptual umbrella of Deu Match a brand behavior guide, animation styles, typography, color palette, conceptualization, directions for creating bumpers, suggestions for aligned soundtracks, and examples of its offline behavior
