philodendrus

Based on the book ‘The Secret Life of Plants’ (Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird), and also in studies about the plants capacity to feel, the play ‘Philodendrus’ emerged at the intersection between dramaturgy, dance and performance. We created a set design made with woods and plants, mostly real plants, that was both a landscape and a character of the play at the same time. In addition to the scenic design, we were also responsible for the visual identity, photography and printed media.
